Sam is the founder of MindMap, a platform dedicated to transforming how we approach mental health and resilience. With a background as an Occupational Health Clinician and throughout his degree in Health & Wellbeing, Sam has witnessed the limitations of traditional mental health advice and saw a critical need for a more proactive, empowering approach. His experience sparked the creation of MindMap, which helps individuals understand the inner workings of their minds while promoting mental fitness and resilience.
Sam’s aim is to build strength and resilience in individuals and organisations before the challenges of life arise. He advocates for mental fitness the same way we focus on physical health by eating well, exercising, and getting enough sleep. Just as we train our bodies, we must train our minds to navigate stress, adversity, and change.
In addition to his work with MindMap, Sam is also a Health and Wellbeing coach at the NI Creativity Centre, where he works with individuals and teams to cultivate mental strength, creativity, and resilience. Whether through MindMap or his coaching role, Sam is passionate about helping people unlock their full potential and thrive both personally and professionally.
